Website Now Live

Okay my darlings, I have a beautiful website up and running. Check it out for in depth information about me and my books in general. Coming soon – interviews with my characters. You can find me at www.jessicamcbrayer.com. Please give me feedback on it and make sure you join the mailing list on the contact page.

Well, I have finished Suckers Bite Back and Little Suckers Bite Too. I’m working on book 7 and have about 26, ooo words already. I had started it a year or so ago. Lots of things and characters have changed since then so I am in deep edits already.

The two finished books will be ready for my Street Team to read shortly. If you are interested in joining, contact me via my web page and let me know. It’s a great way to get sneak peeks at upcoming work as well as a place to chat about books. I’ve even taken polls on covers, titles and character names. Have had some contests and anticipate more.

Will be working on getting all the books into print soon. Right now you can get the first book of both series in print form.

Just read on Twitter that Ms. Carolyn Crane, an Indie author, won the coveted RITA award at this year’s RWA National Conference. A big coup for all Indie authors. Way to go!

Also Molly Harper, one of my favorite authors, has a Zazzle store now with quotes and other stuff from her books on t-shirts and mugs etc. Fun Stuff! You can find it here .

What I’ve Been Doing

It’s been a busy year for me and unfortunately my blogging has paid the toll. Rotator cuffs, hospital stays and the release of a book in January called Raven’s Tale (Stained Series) kept me occupied the first half of the year. Now I am diligently working on three books that will come out simultaneously in November. They are in the San Francisco Vampire Series (Sucking…) and will be two full length books and another Hannah novella.

Working, working, working seems to be all I am doing. I know the title of two of the books. One will be called Suckers Bite Back and the other is Little Suckers Bite Too. Not sure what the third book will be called. It’s working title is Book 7. Can you believe there are going to be seven books in that series out by Christmas??? I can barely fathom it and I’m writing them.

It’s been such an interesting journey since I wrote the first lines of the first book until now. I never thought I would do a spinoff Hannah book. But the novellas have been so much fun. I can’t imagine the series without them. I am thinking of doing some spinoffs of some of the other characters. What do you think? And who would it be?

As far as today goes, I know that I will sit my butt in front of the computer and write, write, write. 🙂

Big things happening a casa McBrayer

Hello and Happy New Year.

It’s been a while since I posted. I’ve been busy. One of the things I have been doing is working with a web designer on a web site so my blog will migrate to the web site. It’s beautiful, just needs some copy from me now. You will be able to click on all my books and select the appropriate retailer you want to buy from. Audio books included.

I’ve also put out a new novella in the San Francisco Vampires series called Suckers Go To Hell – A Hannah and Diel Christmas. It is an awesome read anytime of the year and a continuation in the series, so not just a Christmas story. I am starting on the next full length book in the series and let me tell you that Lily and Sebastian are going to have some major changes happening to them. Especially Lily. She has a lot of growing up to do.

I have another novella coming out in the next two weeks called Raven’s Tale that is a prequel to the Stained series, but it won’t make any difference when you read it. It’s about how Raven became a raven. An interesting story, about 87 pages so a healthy novella. Hope you all like it.

Please, please, if you like the books, leave reviews. An Indie author like me depends on them. It really affects the algorithms on Amazon with how they promote books.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers
